Step into the age of the East India Company with the 1835 1/2 Rupee, struck in the name of Queen Victoria as Company rule reached its height. This substantial silver coin moved through the bazaars and treasuries of an entire subcontinent, its crowned portrait the symbol of an empire administered from a trading house.

Set into hand-carved oak wood, this 1/2 Rupee becomes the centrepiece of a handmade watch built one piece at a time. Every Anka is a wooden watch and a genuine coin watch in one, a true one of one: one design, one watch, one owner.
