Step into the maritime kingdom of Cutch (Kutch) with the 1912 2.5 Kori, struck by the Rao dynasty of one of Gujarat's proudest princely states. The Kori was Kutch's own silver currency, its faces carrying a distinctive blend of Devanagari and Arabic legends, a mark of a Rann-side realm that traded across the Arabian Sea. Minted under Maharao Khengarji III.
Set into hand-carved oak wood, this 2.5 Kori becomes the centrepiece of a handmade watch built one piece at a time. Every Anka is a wooden watch and a genuine coin watch in one, a true one of one: one design, one watch, one owner.
